Mother Nature Takes Another Victory At Old Dominion Speedway

As has been the case on nearly every Saturday since the
start of the racing season at ODS, rain was predicted. After three rounds of
practice and all of the qualifying except for the Late models done, the rain
came in slowly and stayed around long enough to end the evenings events.

I’m sure this will mean the track officials will be adding
more of the dreaded twin feature nights to the schedule. The twin features are
loved by the fans but not so much by the competitors. Twin nights usually make
for some extreme racing and can either be real good for you or real bad for
you; but usually makes for flared up tempers and dented up cars. We’ll keep you
posted on any additions or changes to the ODS schedule.
